Baby music

Baby music is the term used to describe music activity classes aimed at pre-school children and their parents,[1] currently popular in the United Kingdom.

In these classes, usually lasting about an hour, the children are encouraged to participate in singing and percussion activities led by a musician-animator who will often play an acoustic guitar. Percussion instruments may also be provided. Typically baby music classes take place in a community hall or other subsidized venue.

It is also the term used to describe music composed specifically for baby's and infants. This can include singalong songs, nursery rhymes and lullabies. Specialist record labels create and produce baby music.[2]
